James qualified as a Music Therapist in 2013 after completing an MA at the University of the West of England, Bristol. He received an ecletic training and worked with adults and children who had a range of complex needs. From an early age he has nurtured his passion for music by writing songs and performing his own material ata number of local venues. He gained a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Plymouth University in 2010. During his study at university, he discovered that he would like to use his musical skill to support and enrich the lives of others. James’ thesis was on music therapy and dementia. He has a special interest in this field and currently works at a residential care home, undertaking individual and group work with the elderly.
