Lucy Pettit qualified as a Music Therapist in 2012 after completing an MA in Music Therapy at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. Since qualifying, Lucy has worked in the NHS with children and young people with autistic spectrum disorders, learning disabilities, life-threatening and life-limiting illnesses, and emotional, social and behavioural difficulties in a variety of settings including specialist communication provisions, mainstream schools, and a child and family centre. Lucy Collings Pettit graduated with a BA (Hons) in Music from the University of Southampton in 2008 and worked with adults with autism and learning disabilities for two years in Exeter before training as a Music Therapist. She is an accomplished flautist and pianist. Lucy has a special interest in working with children and young people, and currently works as part of the SWSW team providing a music therapy service at Pathfield School in Barnstaple.
